The history of the ILO

Institute of Licensing Officials of Southern Africa
(ILO of SA)

The ILO as we know it today stems from the Association of License Officers that was created in 1951 in Krugersdorp. Three years later the Association ended, but the ILO was formed on 27 November 1968.

Membership numbers have steadily increased over the years. The 2007 members comprised:
